AI & BUSINESS OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP: Focus: FinTech Systems & Growth Strategy
Responsibilities
What You Will Work On
1. FinTech Infrastructure & Systems (Primary Focus)
- Systems Implementation: Collaborate with the founder to research, select, and set up a financial management app (e.g., Wave) to track business expenses and revenue.
- Process Mapping: Help transition current records into a structured, digital "source of truth," bridging the gap between Italian administrative requirements and US-based client billing.
- Operational Accounting: Organize invoicing, track payment cycles, and ensure financial data is clean and actionable.
2. AI-Powered Market Intelligence
- Strategic Lead Generation: Use AI tools to identify and vet US-based non-profits and foundations that align with our luxury auction model.
- Workflow Automation: Identify and implement AI-driven shortcuts to handle repetitive administrative tasks and data organization.
3. Operational & Strategic Support
- Database Management: Maintain and update our curated list of Italian luxury vendors and US-based partners.
- Strategy Assistance: Help refine business documentation and workflows for the auction prize packages to ensure they are professional and ready for market.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy organizing data and building systems that "just work."
- Tech-Forward: Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and eager to use AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity.
- Business Interest: A strong interest in business administration, startup operations, or financial technology.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English.
- Italian Language (Preferred): While not required for the internship, proficiency is a major plus and is a requirement for the role to evolve into a future paid position involving Italian vendor management.

Terms & Logistics
- Location: 100% Remote / Virtual.
- Compensation: Unpaid. We fully support applications for university credits and will provide all necessary documentation.
- Commitment: 15–20 hours per week for 5–6 months.
- Compliance: All selected candidates will be required to sign an internship agreement/contract prior to start.
- Future Opportunity: Excellence in this role may lead to a transition into a paid, part-time position upon completion, focusing on vendor management (requires Italian).
